SANTA CLARA – Pass rushers Cassius Marsh and Dekoda Watson soon will be challenged for their jobs by 49ers additions this spring. But, on Thursday, the 49ers proved willing to giving Marsh and Watson another shot in 2019.
Marsh and Watson had their contract options exercised at base salaries of $3.8 million and $1.45 million, respectively. Fullback Kyle Juszczyk ($4.2 million) and nickel back K’Waun Williams ($1.55 million) also had their 2019 options picked up by the 49ers.
