Today, San Francisco 49ers special-teams coach Thomas McGaughey gave high-praise to the extremely raw but talented RB Jarryd Hayne. When he was asked specifically about Hayne’s return ability, McGaughey did not hesitate to give his two cents. “He has great lateral quickness,” Coach T-Mac said.
McGaughey went on to compare Hayne’s lateral quickness to some of the greatest returners to ever play the game, as WR Dante Hall, WR Devin Hester, and RB Darren Sproles were all mentioned.
