GLENDALE, Ariz. - Running back Carlos Hyde, who was limited in practice this week with a hip injury, will play today against the Cardinals at University of Phoenix Stadium.
Hyde was hurt in the first quarter of a 41-39 loss to the Rams on Sept. 21, but played through the injury after briefly sitting out. He finished with 84 yards on 25 carries and scored two touchdowns.
Hyde ranks third in the NFL in rushing yards (252) and is averaging 5.2 yards per carry. He also has 12 receptions, which is the most by a 49ers running back through three games since Frank Gore had 22 in 2010.
