49ers quarterbacks have been working through center Alex Mack's profuse sweating in training camp

As a center for a new team, San Francisco 49ers lineman Alex Mack is spending his training camp helping his teammates get acclimated to himself as a player. Part of that process involves getting his teammates used to the amount of sweat he apparently produces while playing football.

A tidbit from David Lombardi's takeaways of Niners training camp on Monday revealed that the former Cal Bear has been carrying "a progressively larger towel with him through the first 10 practices."

Kyle Shanahan, who coached Mack in 2016 as offensive coordinator of the Falcons, was asked about the 35-year-old's perspiration, which revealed how Atlanta quarterback Matt Ryan dealt with the issue.
