The San Francisco 49ers announced a few transactions ahead of Sunday’s game against the Arizona Cardinals.
Edge rusher Yetur Gross-Matos was placed on the Injured Reserve. Gross-Matos hadn’t practiced all week with a knee injury. Now, he’ll miss the next four games when the Niners could use all the pass rush help they can get. The defense will face Kyler Murray, Geno Smith, Dak Prescott, and Patrick Mahomes.
Defensive tackle T.Y. McGill Jr. was activated from the practice squad, and defensive tackle Kalia Davis was activated from the Injured Reserve List. So the 49ers will head into Sunday’s game with Nick Bosa, Leonard Floyd, Robert Beal Jr.
