The San Francisco 49ers made another roster move Saturday as the team promoted offensive guard Andrew Tiller from the practice squad and released veteran cornerback Shareece Wright.

Wright initially signed a one-year, $3 million deal with the 49ers during the offseason. He was projected to be a starter alongside fellow cornerback Tramaine Brock, but the developing play of second-year corner Kenneth Acker negated much of the need for Wright.
