The San Francisco 49ers have made a roster move in advance of Sunday’s game against the Dallas Cowboys. The team announced on Saturday that they have promoted tight end Je’Ron Hamm from the practice squad. To make room, they waived DuJuan Harris.
The 49ers made the move because of injury issues at the tight end position. Vance McDonald suffered a hip injury last week, and after missing Wednesday practice, he was listed as limited on Thursday and Friday. Garrett Celek suffered a back injury last week, and was listed as limited all three days of practice this week.
