CARSON — Running backs Matt Breida and Alfred Morris are active and won’t miss the 49ers game today because of knee injuries.
Breida was limited Wednesday and Friday in practice, having hyperextended his right knee in the first half of last Sunday’s loss at Kansas City but returned after halftime and finished with 90 yards to retain a share of the NFL rushing lead.
Morris also sustained a right-knee injury at Kansas City, and it limited him in practice Thursday and Friday.
— The 49ers are not trading for Philadelphia Eagles backup Nick Foles although “some within the league” wish that were the case to hype up the 49ers’ five prime-time games later this season, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
