SANTA CLARA -- Anthony Davis was in uniform Monday just two days after he contemplated leaving the team.
Davis served as the 49ers’ top backup at both tackle positions; Andrew Tiller started Monday's game at right guard, the position Davis had held the last two weeks.
Davis, 26, missed Saturday's practice and told team officials that he no longer wanted to line up at guard, a position he had not played since he was a freshman at Rutgers in 2007. Davis started at right tackle from 2010-14 before abruptly retiring in June 2015.
Early in the second quarter, Tiller had to leave the game due to an apparent foot injury.
