Running back Carlos Hyde and center Daniel Kilgore are among the five players the 49ers placed on injury lists upon reporting to training camp, the club announced Tuesday.
Hyde, who was held out of most of the offseason program with a calf injury, was placed on the active/non-football injury list, along with outside linebacker Aaron Lynch, and rookie offensive lineman Trent Brown and wide receiver DeAndre Smelter.
Kilgore was placed on active/physically unable to perform after he sustained a season-ending fractured lower leg last season. Kilgore was the 49ers’ starting center last season, and will compete against Marcus Martin for that role again this season.
