On Monday, November 30, as part of the NFL’s HOMETOWN HUDDLE program and in partnership with Optum, United Way Silicon Valley and the NFL’s PLAY 60 Campaign, the San Francisco 49ers converted a former classroom into an innovative health and fitness center for students at Fischer Middle School in San Jose.
Select students took part in the after-school assembly followed by the unveiling of the fitness classroom where the students broke in the new fitness equipment with 49ers players.
49ers players who participated included P Bradley Pinion, TE Vance McDonald, CB Kenneth Acker, and TE Brian Leonhardt.
