The San Francisco 49ers announced that they’ve opened the practice window for defensive tackle Kalia Davis.
Earlier on Wednesday, there was a report that the team brought back wide receiver Terique Owens to the practice squad. The team announced that move as well as signing Jonathan Garvin to the practice squad. The corresponding move was to release defensive tackle Shakel Brown.
Garvin signed with the 49ers on August 9 and was with the team for all of the training camp before being released on September 10. He was in the UFL before a three-year stint with the Green Bay Packers.
