If you’ve been a San Francisco 49ers fan for more than a couple of years, you know that there’s been some serious drama in just about every offseason. Loud, public, 49ers-social-media-meltdown-drama.
And this year, after the terrific gut-punch that was 2025 free agency, all eyes are on Brock Purdy’s contract situation; should they extend him early? Will he ask for more money? Should the 49ers just use that 11th pick, trade it to the Miami Dolphins, and start this circus over again?
Beyond the calmness of Brock Purdy’s extension (well, for 49ers contracts, anyway), this seems more lackluster when you think about all the drama the 49ers had before.
