Once again, perennial All-Pro linebacker NaVorro Bowman is with the San Francisco 49ers.
This time, however, he won’t be seeing the field or intimidating opposing running backs on a regular basis.
No, Bowman is retiring now. Officially, after he announced his intent to do so earlier this offseason.
“I feel like the 49ers are my home,” Bowman told former 49ers.com reporter Joe Fann back in June. “It’s the place that loved me from the start, and so I wanted to come back and retire as a Niner.”
And now, Bowman gets to end his on-field legacy with the squad that drafted him in Round 3 back in 2010.
