The San Francisco 49ers might be trying to get a have reportedly tendered RFA Michael Wilhoite and ERFA Jordan Devey, leaving Tony Jerod-Eddie as the most prominent of the restricted free agents yet to be tendered. Matt Barrows is reporting the team is believed to have offered TJE a multi-year extension.
Barrows is reporting Jerod-Eddie will test the market to assess his worth before signing any deal with the 49ers. The 49ers have until Wednesday to offer the tender, so it is possible the team will simply wait and see what happens before doing so. I do not know exactly what the rules are for restricted free agents during the tampering period.
