SANTA CLARA -- Chip Kelly on Thursday said he hasn't considered putting in a waiver claim for his former receiver, Josh Huff, and that he doesn't know the details of Huff's arrest earlier this week in New Jersey.
Huff, whom Kelly and the Eagles drafted in the third round in 2014, was arrested for DUI, possession of marijuana, illegal possession of a firearm and having six hollow-tip bullets in his car after police pulled him over for speeding on a bridge just south of the Eagles training complex. The Eagles waived the 25-year-old receiver on Thursday.
Kelly said he was informed of Huff's release just before he met with reporters Thursday morning.
