The San Francisco 49ers should make a change on their depth chart for the rest of 2019: put running back Raheem Mostert directly behind the would-be starter, Matt Breida, and not Tevin Coleman.
This isn’t a knock against Coleman, of course. Rather it’s a hype for Mostert, who had himself a monster 19-carry, 146-yard game in Week 13 during the Niners’ 20-17 road loss to the Baltimore Ravens.
What makes Mostert special is his speed.
“He’s really fast,” tight end George Kittle told reporters after the game, rather bluntly.
