The San Francisco 49ers cut down to 53 players on Saturday, and at the time, Kentavius Street’s move to the Reserve/NFI list was believed to be the only injury related move. However, it turns out three of the roster cuts were injury-related. The NFL released the official transaction list for Saturday, and it included wide receiver Aaron Burbridge, offensive lineman J.P. Flynn, and fullback Malcolm Johnson moved to injured reserve.
There is no word on their injuries, but for the time being, the three are on injured reserve, which means the 49ers are carrying some portion of their salary.
