49ers mock drafts: Help in the secondary is the team's focus, most analysts say | The Sacramento Bee

The 49ers have already taken steps to address their secondary.

San Francisco signed Richard Sherman from the rival Seattle Seahawks, but NFL draft analysts don't feel that's enough.

All but one of the mocks sampled here have a secondary player going to the 49ers with the ninth overall pick of the NFL draft, which kicks off April 26 at the Dallas Cowboys' AT&T Stadium.

The 49ers went 6-10 last season, but those victories came in the final seven games, so they had positive momentum to close out the year. Here's a look at players that could help San Francisco build on that in 2018.
