The San Francisco 49ers can breathe a sigh of relief, thankfully.
During the Niners’ joint practice with the Denver Broncos on Friday, starting right guard Mike Person apparently suffered some sort of foot injury. While most reporters didn’t see Person go down with an injury, he was later seen at the Broncos practice facility walking around on crutches and wearing a walking boot.
On Saturday morning, NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco reported Person only suffered a minor foot strain, and he’s considered day to day:
Person started all 16 games at right guard for San Francisco last season and was quietly one of the team’s most reliable linemen over the course of 2018.
