You know the Super Bowl is expensive when a guy making $12 million a year raises an eyebrow at suite prices.
San Francisco 49ers running back Christian McCaffrey — heading for his first trip to a Super Bowl on Feb. 11 — won’t foot the bill for a suite for his family, according to his mom, Lisa McCaffrey. And it’s hard not to blame him: Available suites for Super Bowl LVIII between San Francisco and the Kansas City Chiefs at Allegiant Stadium cost $2.5 million.
“We looked into a suite and none of us can afford it, not even Christian — moneybags over there — nor moneybags Olivia,” Lisa said Friday on her podcast, referring to her son and his fiancee, model and influencer Olivia Culpo.
