SANTA CLARA — Robbie Gould might not be available Monday night if the 49ers need him to repeat last year’s heroics against the visiting Seattle Seahawks.
If he’s not, the question becomes how long will Gould need to recover from a quadriceps injury.
It’s serious enough that the 49ers are signing kicker Chase McLaughlin, as first reported Wednesday morning by NFL Network.
