TAMPA — Wide receiver Marquise Goodwin is doubtful to play Sunday against the Buccaneers after leaving the 49ers to tend to a private matter, the team announced.
Goodwin flew to Tampa with the team Friday and was excused to fly back out, and a team source indicated his exodus was not of a disciplinary nature.
The 49ers (2-8) will face the Bucs (3-7) without their other starting wide receiver, Pierre Garçon, whose knee injury also sidelined him two of the previous three games.
