It appears 49ers left tackle Joe Staley will return at least one game earlier than expected from an orbital fracture he sustained in a loss at Philadelphia on Oct. 29.
Staley was a full participant in practice today and isn’t even listed on the injury report for Sunday’s game against the Giants at Levi’s Stadium. Staley, who is wearing a tinted visor for protection, returned to practice Wednesday and was limited in the first two sessions of the week.
The 49ers originally expected Staley to miss at least two games with the injury and likely return after the bye to play against the Seahawks on Nov.
