San Francisco 49ers legend Steve Young has decided the Dallas Cowboys are no longer worth talking about.
In his weekly appearance on KNBR’s “Tolbert and Copes” show Wednesday, Young discussed the top teams in the NFC, saying he thinks the Lions are the best, but he’s keeping a close eye on the 49ers’ NFC West foes in the Cardinals and Rams, as well as the Commanders.
Young then quickly dismissed the Eagles, saying, “I just don’t think there is anything there.” That led co-host Tom Tolbert to mention the Eagles’ opponent this week, the Cowboys, who are 3-5 and just lost $60 million quarterback Dak Prescott for several weeks with a hamstring injury.
