One defensive lineman keeps popping up as a trade candidate for the San Francisco 49ers ahead of Tuesday’s trade deadline.
Patriots defensive tackle Davon Godchaux has been linked to the 49ers on multiple occasions by NFL insiders in the past week. The most recent instance came from ESPN’s Dan Graziano on Wednesday, who was asked if San Francisco is seeking to reunite with two former Niner defensive tackles: DeForest Buckner from the Colts or the Broncos’ D.J. Jones.
“That would make a lot of sense, but I don’t get the sense either of those teams are eager to move those guys,” Graziano wrote.
