49ers’ John Lynch is 11th man in history to serve as team’s general manager

Former Stanford and NFL standout John Lynch officially became the San Francisco 49ers newest general manager on Sunday, replacing the recently fired Trent Baalke. Lynch, who has no NFL front office experience, is the 11th man in history to hold the 49ers’ general manager spot. Bill Walsh and Lou Spadia each had two stints as San Francisco’s GM.
