San Francisco 49ers right tackle Mike McGlinchey became the latest member of the 49ers’ offense to go down with a long-term injury when head coach Kyle Shanahan announced Wednesday the second-year offensive lineman will miss 4-to-6 weeks after arthroscopic surgery on his right knee.
McGlinchey’s injury was announced a day after the team said fullback Kyle Juszczyk would also miss 4-to-6 weeks due to an MCL sprain.
Both players sustained their injuries in Monday night’s 31-3 thrashing of the Cleveland Browns, and the team was already playing without left tackle Joe Staley, who has been out since Week 2 due to a broken fibula.
