The San Francisco 49ers played musical chairs as some players expectedly returned after missing Thursday’s session, while a few others sat out for unknown reasons.
Christian McCaffrey and Nick Bosa were back in action after a veteran’s day off. Jauan Jennings, who had been dealing with a hamstring injury, returned and played his typical number of reps. Left guard Aaron Banks also started with the first team after dealing with back spasms. Rookie Jarrett Kingston returned as well.
On the flip side, punter Mitch Wishnowsky was not at practice. That meant when it was time for the field goal team to take the field, fullback Kyle Juszczyk was the holder.
