The 49ers wrapped up preparations for Sunday’s matchup against the Seattle Seahawks on Friday afternoon at team headquarters in Santa Clara.
After practice had completed head coach Kyle Shanahan provided an update on the team’s health. Wide receiver Deebo Samuel will be out with a groin strain. Samuel has been a dominant force over the last five weeks and the offense will need to look elsewhere for explosive plays.
Although originally thought to be out this week, linebacker Fred Warner was instead listed as doubtful. The 2020 All-Pro has been working hard on a side field, trying to convince trainers that he can go on Sunday and not miss the first game of his career.
