The San Francisco 49ers released their first practice participation report of Week 7, and it offers some clues as to who will start opposite Tramaine Brock this Sunday against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
Cornerback Jimmie Ward was back at practice on Wednesday, and he was listed as a full participant. Ward missed the past three weeks worth of practices due to a quadricep injury. The fact that he went from DNP to Full this week is a great sign for Sunday.
Of course, it is a necessary sign in light of Rashard Robinson’s concussion. The rookie cornerback suffered the concussion in the third quarter of Sunday’s loss to the Bills.
