The San Francisco 49ers wrapped up their Thursday practice earlier this morning, and all the players on the 53-man roster were participants in some way or another. We talked about Torrey Smith practicing in a non-contact jersey earlier today.
Among the limited players, Aaron Lynch is the least likely to play. The beat writers have said he still looks gimpy on his ankle. Chip Kelly said on Thursday that Lynch is in and out of team drills thus far, and is focusing more on individual drills. When asked if it was Lynch’s decision to test things out this week, Kelly said, “No, it’s him and the doctors going through and knowing where he is and how long the injury was, what the MRI said.
