49ers injury report: Bush 'doubtful' to face Cardinals

Running back Reggie Bush did not practice Friday due to a calf strain and is not expected to be available for the 49ers’ game Sunday against the Arizona Cardinals. The 49ers list Bush as “doubtful.”

Earlier in the day, 49ers coach Jim Tomsula said he wants to see players coming back from injuries practice before giving them the go-ahead to play.

“We are looking for people to practice,” Tomsula said. “Make no mistake about that.”

Meanwhile, wide receiver Bruce Ellington (ankle) and tight end Vance McDonald (knee) are implied to have 50-50 chances of playing after going through limited work on Friday.
