Niners running back DuJuan Harris is expected to make his fourth career start today in place of Carlos Hyde, who will his second straight game with a shoulder injury.
Harris, 28, made his 2016 debut in the 49ers’ last game, a 34-17 loss to Tampa Bay, and his off-the-bench performance earned him more playing time. Harris had 39 yards on 11 carries, including an 18-yard scamper, and two receptions for 18 yards.
The 49ers have not announced Harris will start, but the NFL Network reported he would do so this morning.
Harris, who signed with the 49ers in December, has six plays of at least 18 yards in his three-game, 49-touch tenure.
