Field Yates of ESPN reports that the 49ers brought in free agent OT Byron Bell for a visit this past weekend.
This is the first reported interest in Bell since the free agent market officially opened last week.
Bell, 28, originally signed on with the Panthers as an undrafted free agent out of New Mexico back in 2011. He played out his rookie contract with the Panthers before signing a one-year, $2.25 million contract with the Titans back in March of last year that included $650,000 guaranteed.
Bell, unfortunately, missed the entire 2016 season after he sustained a dislocated ankle last summer and was subsequently placed on injured reserve.
