Parys Haralson, who spent the first six of his nine NFL seasons with the 49ers, has returned to the organization.
The 49ers on Tuesday announced Haralson has been hired as the organization’s director of player engagement.
“Parys is a young man who represented himself and our organization very well, both on and off the field,” general manager Trent Baalke said in a statement. “Less than two years removed from the game, Parys has great knowledge of what players experience in today’s NFL and what is needed for them to be successful in their professional and personal lives.
