Not surprisingly, Jim Harbaugh doesn’t agree with the decision Indiana University made Thursday to fire his brother-in-law, men’s basketball coach Tom Crean.
Somewhat surprising: Harbaugh blasted 49ers owner Jed York and former general manager Trent Baalke in expressing his support for Crean.
In this story by Sports Illustrated’s Michael Rosenberg, Harbaugh likened his exit from the 49ers after the 2014 season to that of Crean’s dismissal.
“… Much like my situation in San Francisco, the people that are doing the micromanaging … when it comes to building a ball team, what they know could not blow up a small balloon,” Harbaugh said.
