Glenn Dorsey once kicked butt despite having excruciating pain just above his butt.
In 2007, the 49ers’ nose guard played the final three games of his senior season at LSU with a tailbone injury that made sitting a scream-filled proposition.
Dorsey traveled campus with a “doughnut,” an inflatable seat cushion that helped him avoid some of the agony.
“That was painful. I mean, that was painful,” said Dorsey, placing an emphasis on the last word. “I’m not going to lie. I hated that. You couldn’t sit on that too long because then it would start aching.
