About 150 volunteers from the 49ers Foundation teamed up with Rebuilding Together Silicon Valley on Wednesday to provide an outdoor makeover for the Morgan Autism Center’s new home in San Jose. But for former 49ers linebacker Lee Woodall and his wife, Terri, it meant a lot more than just a good deed.
The Woodalls, who flew back to the Bay Area from their home in Philadelphia, know just how important places like the Morgan Autism Center are for families because they have a 10-year-old son who is on the autism spectrum.
“It’s a beautiful facility,” Lee Woodall said.
