49ers get through first padded practice with no injuries

You hear the horror stories about the first day of padded practice, torn groin muscles (think Arian Foster in Texas), or torn knee ligaments (think 49ers running back Kendall Hunter a year ago).

Only one player hit the turf on Tuesday, and that was Aldon Smith, but he wasn’t down for long, and he returned to practice quickly. It looked like he might have been hit in the groin region.
