On Thursday, long-time Denver Broncos owner Pat Bowlen passed away at the age of 75. Bowlen was one of the most NFL’s successful owners after he acquired Denver in 1984. During his tenure, the Broncos won three Super Bowls, 13 division titles, and seven conference titles. In 35 seasons under Bowlen, Denver had only eight losing seasons.
San Francisco 49ers General manager John Lynch has obvious ties to the Broncos organization. Lynch played in Denver from 2004-07, and he’s also in the Broncos Ring of Fame. Not to mention having a close friendship with current general manager and the face of the Denver organization, John Elway.
