As far as best-remaining free agents in 2021 go, you’ll see former San Francisco 49ers cornerback Richard Sherman towards the very top of most lists out there.
Sherman’s departure from the Niners was known long before the negotiating window opened on March 15. He told NBC Sports Bay Area’s Matt Maiocco back in December of last year the chances of a reunion with San Francisco were “not looking likely.
