The San Francisco 49ers needed to find a potential replacement for a key member of their Super Bowl roster who suffered a devastating injury during their overtime loss.
After two days of free agency, the 49ers seem to have found that man in former Chargers linebacker Eric Kendricks. ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported overnight that the 49ers have agreed to a one-year deal with the 32-year-old.
Kendricks should give the Niners stability at linebacker after Dre Greenlaw tore his Achilles when preparing to run onto the field in the second quarter of Super Bowl LVIII.
