The San Francisco 49ers were once again without right tackle Trent Brown at practice on Thursday due to his concussion. Brown has to go through the NFL’s concussion protocol, which means there are a series of tests he has to pass before he can return to the field.
Not practicing, even in a limited fashion, means he’s going to be cutting it close regarding the other approvals. I think he’ll play on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles, but it could be a close one.
In addition to Brown, all of Brandon Fusco, Marquise Goodwin, Aaron Lynch and K’Waun Williams missed practice with injuries.
