It looks like Brock Purdy is going to continue to be judged as a quarterback through 2024, but one thing is sure: The team catches the ball better.
If you look at Pro Football Reference’s dropped pass metrics from last year you’ll see Brock Purdy had just nine (9) dropped passes. We knew the passing game was much improved compared to previous years, but by how much? Well it was at its worse in the Kyle Shanahan era in 2022 with 37 dropped passes. Then 2020 with 34. Or just look at it through the years, (I could only go as far back as 2018).
