For San Francisco 49ers fans, the day was six seasons in the making — and it did not disappoint.
In the team’s first playoff appearance since 2013, the Niners dominated the Vikings throughout their 27-10 victory at Levi’s Stadium.
The defense was near-impenetrable, giving up only 21 yards rushing on the day.
“That was the No. 1 emphasis all week,” rookie defensive lineman Nick Bosa said. “We knew we were facing probably the best back we’ve faced all year with Dalvin [Cook], and we knew we had to earn the right to pass rush.
