SANTA CLARA – Defensive lineman Glenn Dorsey, who has yet to see any game action for the 49ers since his November knee injury, is back participating in 11-on-11 practice sessions.
On Thursday, he was seen participating with the 49ers’ other defensive linemen in a drill in which the players made an initial move, run and wrapped up a stationary dummy and rolled to the ground to simulate correct tackling form.
A week ago, coach Chip Kelly said he anticipated Dorsey would play in the 49ers’ season opener against the Los Angeles Rams barring a setback. Dorsey was among the 49ers’ seven inactive players.
