The San Francisco 49ers didn’t look great against the Carolina Panthers, and a lot of that could be blamed on their inactives list. Not the majority of that, or even half of that, but a good portion. That’s because they went without free safety Jimmie Ward, defensive end Aaron Lynch and potential left guard upgrade Laken Tomlinson.
On Sunday against the Seattle Seahawks, the 49ers’ inactive list should look a lot different. I fully expect all three of the players above to participate in Sunday’s game in some fashion, and it would be a surprise if any one of them wound up being inactive.
