A week ago, it seemed Saleh was a prime candidate for the Cleveland Browns. Talk about soon. But it didn’t pan out. Minnesota Vikings offensive coordinator Kevin Stefanski got the call.
From the outside looking in it was a scalp-scratcher. Even the estimable Ian Rapoport of the NFL Network couldn’t understand the logic.
“I expected Saleh to get it,” Rapoport said Monday on KNBR. “So I was planning in my head like how I would say it…Then I got the word it was Stefanski –who is a really good, young, respected coach who has done a really good job in Minnesota, I get it — but I was very surprised.
