Approaching the one-year anniversary of the torn ACL that cost him the entire 2014 season, Darnell Dockett checked off another item on his rehab to-do list.
The veteran defensive lineman made his first appearance in a San Francisco 49ers team period on Monday.
Receiving reps as a nickel pass-rusher, Dockett applied pressure in the backfield as he went against the second-team offensive line.
The free-agent acquisition still wasn't a full participant in 11-on-11 work, but the steady progress showed that his surgically-repaired knee is responding well to training camp activities.
Dockett also beat Marcus Martin in a 1-on-1 drill, using a swim move to get past the second-year guard.
